TransferWise is a worldwide leader when it comes to international money transfers. The startup was founded in 2011 by Taavet Hinrikus, Skype's first employee, and is currently active in over 40 industries.

Research conducted by an autonomous research agency revealed more than one billion euros in hidden transaction costs across international money transfers.
