2. About AM publicrelations.am

AM publicrelations.am B.V. is a PR and communications agency based in Amsterdam. We manage and educate on brand storytelling, media relations, and press communication for our clients. In performing these activities, we may process personal data relating to clients, journalists, partners, suppliers, and website visitors.

3. Categories of Personal Data

Depending on the interaction, we may collect:

  • Identification and contact data: name, job title, company, email address, phone number.

  • Professional data: publication, area of expertise, or media focus.

  • Communication data: correspondence and meeting notes.

  • Website usage data: IP address, device information, browser type, and pages visited (via Squarespace Analytics).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive data such as political opinions, religious beliefs, or health information.

4. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

We process data only when necessary for:

  2. Press and media outreach – to share relevant news, press releases, or event invitations. (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR)

5. Data Sharing and Processors

We only share personal data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our business:

  • Squarespace – for website hosting and analytics.

  • Google Workspace – for secure e-mail communication and document storage.

  • KIT – for sending newsletters and managing subscription data.

All third parties act as data processors under written agreements ensuring GDPR compliance.
No personal data are sold or traded.

6. Data Retention

Data are retained only as long as necessary or legally required:

  • Client and business contact data: during the relationship and up to one year after termination.

  • Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.

  • Correspondence: maximum of two years.

  • Accounting and invoicing records: seven years (legal obligation).

  • Website analytics (Squarespace): anonymised, retained indefinitely.

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Password-protected systems and devices.

  • Two-factor authentication where available.

  • SSL-secured website connection (https).

  • Restricted access to authorised personnel only.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Access your personal data.

  • Request correction or deletion.

  • Object to or restrict processing.

  • Request transfer of your data to another party.
